There is plenty of shopping opportunities in and around Darwin. The main area for shopping in the city is The Mall in the CBD. It has a tropical feel, with plenty of greenery and casual seating. There are 20 arcades in the city selling everything from clothing, books, food and aboriginal artefacts. Smith Street Mall and Mitchell Street are other favourite shopping strips in Darwin. The biggest shopping centre in Darwin is at Casuarina, it supplies free shuttle buses to and from the city. |

Casuarina Square
This is Darwin's largest shopping centre, having everything from large departments stores, specialty shops, food and cafes, and cinemas. This centre is a 20min drive from the centre of Darwin, shuttle buses are available as well as normal bus services. Trower Road, Casuarina (08 8920 2345).
Darwin Shopping Centre
This is shopping centre is on three levels with a range of shops and eateries. Shrewsbury Town Centre (01743 272 322).
Mitchell Centre
Located in the heart of Darwin's CBD, and claims a 24 hour supermarket and many specialty shops.
The Galleria
Located in Darwin city Mall, this centre has an array of high quality, jewellery, fashion and shoe outlets.
